Blake and more Blake...

Ok, I have some really cute videos of our son that I thought I'd share.

Typically, Blake stops talking once I get out the video camera, but this clip he just kept on talking. It is a little long of the same stuff, but it is hard for a Mommy to stop video taping her chatty baby!

Talking up a storm

This clip is of Blake starting to sit up. He's still not real good at it, but I can't believe how much he is already starting to sit up on his own!!

And lastly, this clip is of Blake with his absolute favorite toy. Notice near the end how he starts to smile at his puppy. He was on my lap last night bored with the toy I was giving him, so I went on the floor and give him his puppy and immediately he started to smile. So cute.
This puppy is very sensitive to touch and has gone off in the middle of the night a couple times. First time it scared the crap out of me!
And, no post would be complete without a couple pics. Here's a few updated of our little boy:

Playing so hard...

This just makes me smile.

Look at that six pack!

The usual.

Interesting reminder...

I know that the majority of our goods are not manufactured in the U.S., but yesterday, I was given an interesting reminder. Someone had apparently used some of the paper as scratch paper and then forgot to take it out of the inventory:

The paper my newly purchased clothes pins were fastened to. Hopefully this isn't a cry for help because if it is, I need a translator!
Anyway, I kind of enjoyed the little surprise and it reminded me that someone's job was to put clothes pins together for me and then sell them to me at a very low price. I hope they are treated well in their job.

Sunday best

So, I have started to go from sleepers to cute outfits. Cute outfits just don't work well on a newborn b/c they bunch up around his neck and sleepers just seem to be the most comfortable. We were a little late for church last Sunday because we were getting these pictures of Blake in his Sunday best :) (4 1/2 months)!

What's up.

Help me!

Dad, seriously. Get off me!

HAHAHAHA! What a chub.

Wait! Wait, what's out the window?!?

Ahhh, cute baby picture!

Mom, could you at least have put a disposable diaper on me so I don't look so fat?

I think I want to be done...

Oh all right, I'll try to smile...

Hmmm, maybe I'll just suck my lip instead...

Rollover complete & fresh line dried clothes

I was informed that I have not given an update on Blake's progress lately. I am happy to inform you that he is now proficient at rolling over from his tummy to his back. This means that Mommy no longer determines when Blake gets tummy time :) He will usually stay on his tummy for a little while, but he usually rolls over before too long.

Here's a couple cute videos that I took on Friday.

Sucking on my shirt

Tummy time cuteness

Our newest thing is enjoying the summer by hanging out clothes out on the line. Why is this enjoyable? Oh, for so many reasons.

1). The sun is AMAZING at bleaching Blake's diapers. No harsh chemicals, just sunlight supplied by God. I love it.

2). The clothes smell so fresh when I take them off the line

3). It helps with the spring fever of wanting to get outside.

4). I feel so nat-u-ral when I use the outside air rather than my drier!

Blake and I hanging out his clothes

It was hard to get a good pic...Blake likes to suck on his baby carrier, so he's usually quite content while we do laundry :)

Ahhhhh, plus, aren't his socks darn cute hanging on the line?!?
